I don't know how I did it but after running XP for some
time on several machines, one now boots to the desktop
then opens the "My Documents" window automatically as if
I have double clicked the "Windows Explorer" icon. I have
that icon in the task bar but I have it on the other XP
PC's, without this problem. What did I do and how do I
fix it? Also, how does one get "Windows Explorer" to open
to "My Computer" instead of "My Documents"?
Thanks,
Dave

Open Windows Explorer, Tools/Folder Options/View...uncheck
"restore previous window on windows logon."
You might also check on XP Power Toys - Tweakui for XP if
the first suggestion doesn't work. Tweakui may also be the
solution to your second question.
