msbb attempts to access the net

My norton internet security is constantly giving me a
warning that msbb is attempting to access the net and
norton list this as a medium risk problem. What is going
on could it be that some request for information in
memory could be outbound to some unknown computer or
should I allow this?

You have a third-party program, such as a mouse driver, attempting
to access a support website to check for software updates. You can =
either
deny access or allow it. I would suggest deny.
