Hey...
Recently I have been recieving emails claiming to be from
microsoft security, inet security and all toher possible
comibnations claiming to be emailing me the latest
security patch.
I know these emails contain virus's but they are extremly
annoying, exspecially when you are getting 20-40 per day
in your email!!!
Is there any possible way to stop these emails?
Thanks...
Jeremy

I am very happy that I have successfully stopped all these hellheads
coming to my hotmail account.Look at other posts in this newsgroup
from T O M M Y , to see how I was teased.
I do not know if your mail account has got such a filter, but in
hotmail go to Options>filters>Custom filters. Then block e-mails with
the "Microsoft" or/and "update" in the "From name". This works fine,
since Microsoft doesn't send updates via e-mails. Also ,to avoid
blockage of other e-mails from those senders you trust , put their
addresses in the "never block e-mails from theses people".
All I have done has successfully worked till now.
Other possible e-mails that have the same virus/worm:
1- From: Microsoft Corporation Program Se
Subject: Network security Upgrade Size: 143KB
2- From: Public Assistance
Subject: net update Size: 130KB
3- From: Admin
Subject: Error Letter Size: 150KB
4- From: MS Corporation Security Center
Subject: Newest Net Update Size: 145KB
5- From: Admin
Subject: Message Size : 125KB
6- From: Network Security Section
Subject: "NO SUBJECT" Size : 150KB
7- From: Net message delivery
Subject: No delivery found Size : 144KB

Yes. Unplug your computer and leave it unplugged.
