Windows Updates - What Ports To Open?

Question:
What Port does Microsoft use to check fo Windows Updates
and is there a specific Microsoft IP Address for these
checks and downloads?

Situtation:
Due to security concerns we shut down most of our in and
out ports on the firewall. We configured the
workstations and servers to check for updates
automatically, download them, and notify the users the
update is ready to install. However, we checked some of
the systems and found the systems are lacking several
critical updates. I supect the isssue is closed ports
for the updates to happen.

You will need to open ports 80, 8080 and 443 for in and outbound.
