My XP system is not a member of any domain. To use the printers during each login session, I either add a printer or browse to the printer server and enter my domain name and password. One time when I did this, I forgot to uncheck the "remember my passwo
rd" box, and now it seems my domain password is stored on disk somewhere. How can I remove it? I tried disabling and clearing out password information in the Content->Autocomplete Settings tab in the Internet Options control panel, but it has no effect -
I still get connected to the printers automatically every time I login, so the password is still being stored somewhere.

With the printer mapping showing up under printers i believe you can right
click it and disconnect.

You might also look in control panel/ user accounts/ open the username
concerned/ click "manage my network passwords" under related tasks -- that
does it for me.
