help. I can't get Some of my attachments

[CRYSTAL GARRETT]

For some reason, I can't get some of my attachments when someone emails me.
It say "OE removed acess from some unsafe attachments from you email. I want
to get these attachments. Please help me

I've had the same problem. There are other ways, but what works for me is
for the sender to rename the file from .exe or whatever offends Outlook to a
..jpg file. After you recieve it, save it and rename it with correct
extension ie: .exe

Your problem is actually different. The OP is using Outlook Express and the
solution is to;
Open Outlook Express/TOOLS menu/Options/Security
tab...uncheck the box "Do not allow attachments...." (4th
box on tab page.

Outlook is even more difficult when it comes to protecting the user and your
solution does provide a work around. There is a more direct method of
changing settings provided at;

It would have saved a lot of trouble if MS had merely added
the words to the pop up thus, "Outlook Express has blocked
opening attachments because many viruses are spread by
unsafe attachments. You may enable attachments in
Tools.Options/Security."

Maybe in a later update.
