I'm a very new computer user & I kinda experiment around, clicking
buttons & stuff. A lot of times I run into the option of "compress
drives to save disk space". Should I always check this option? What
are the pros & cons of doing so?
Thanks in advance!

Which was an issue maybe 5 years ago or longer. At 1 cent per megabyte skip
compression.
