is there a Windows Messenger that i can on a network that
i dont have to be online to use between pcs on my network

Greetings Randy,

You can use Windows Messenger 4.x to connect to a SIP based communications service (like the
upcoming RealTime Client Server/Greenwich from Microsoft) or you can use the Exchange version
of Windows Messenger to connect to an Exchange 2000 Instant Messaging Server.

However, if you don't have either of these server solutions, you'll have to use another
messaging program for internal use, like LanTalk XP:
