Karen, the purchaser of this used computer, bought this
computer off a retailer who said they were IBM dealers,
and aren't, they kept the XP discs that belong with this
computer. Is there any legal way to get these discs,
which they have scoffed at giving to Karen. They said
they will give her copies of them, not originals. Karen,
by the way had no computer knowledge when she bought this
computer at an over inflated price. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thank you

If she has anything to prove that what she bought
was a computer with Windows XP, then a lawyer
could hang them to nails, as Windows XP can only
be sold or have its ownership transferred if all
original materials are transferred to the new owner.
If she has no such proof, then although they did
wrong (though not provably) she was taken to the
cleaners.

Greetings --

Karen should probably contact her local law enforcement agencies.
