LOL...you probably also think gas prices will drop if oil prices go down.
Microsoft sets their prices based on what the market will bear. As piracy
becomes more difficult, demand for the license goes up, which will increase
both price and revenue. As a stockholder, this makes me happy.
You wholly misunderstand the economics involved. The only thing that would
lower the cost of Microsoft's desktop products is the existence of viable
alternatives.

Link is broken. However, even if Bruce happens to be aware of the economic
realities, he is performing a disservice to the community by implying piracy
inflates software price levels. Misinforming the public rarely solves
anything.
