I checked my my this morning and found I had a Network Security Pack sent to
me from Microsoft. Is this for real or should I delete it?

Microsoft *never* sends out patches by E-mail. Any such mail is a
hoax. These often contain viruses.

Microsoft *never* sends out patches by E-mail. Any such mail is a
hoax. These often contain viruses.

Thank you, but no. I prefer "often."
It's usually a wise idea to avoid words like "always." It's
certainly possible that someone somewhere has sent out a hoax
message like the one in question *without* a virus.
