delete it microsoft will not send you a patch. I have been
getting a couple of these things a day, and have found
them to be viruses.

I got a few of these myself. Microsoft isn't going to send you anything like
that. Delete.

I've been getting a few a day as well! What the heck is going on?

Problem is, each one comes just a LITTLE different, and still they get
through the outlook filters...

It is a virus, they mined our email from this newsgroup.
They alter the sender and subject at random.
A good reason to keep "do not open attachments" set as a
default while you delete this stuff.

I use Hotmail and set OE to not download email, just the
headers. Saves time because I delete about 85% of my mail
without download anything but the header. Then I still scan
everything, all files.

Microsoft NEVER emails updates to users, you can sign up for
an opt-in mailing list that will notify you there is a new
update and it tells you to visit Windows Update
(Start/Windows Update).
