Anyone ever heard of this program? Is it safe to run, its suppose to block
spam. Its a free program but wants me to make changes to my outlook express
I'm not sure about. Can anyone help?

Where did you get it and what changes does it ask you to make in OE?

It'll be asking him to change the servername setting to "localhost",
so that the SpamPal program can see all his email and interfere with
the mail session (tagging spam messages). Could this be dangerous?
Well, yes, of course... the question has to be "how much do you trust
this program"? Now, naturally I'm going to say my program is wonderfully
safe and will never ever steal your password or any other personal details,
but I would say that, wouldn't I?

Perhaps a better answer is that, to the best of my knowledge, there's no
evidence anywhere (don't take my word for it; search for it) of SpamPal
doing anything nefarious. It's been out for over a year, so you'd think
that if it was, someone would have noticed by now.
