Can't sign in. Found out that the Firewall blocks
Messenger. Do you not give options like Yahoo Messenger
with "Firewall with no proxy" which works on my
computer...or do you have other options?

Greetings,

Messenger attempts to connect to messenger.hotmail.com on port 1863, and then on port 80. If
it can't connect to either (which whoever setup your firewall intended), you won't be able to
access Messenger.

You might want to try a web-based solution, like http://www.mister-i.com
(trial, not free) or
http://www.odigo.org/download/index.html and their Java odigo client can connect to MSN
Messenger (you have to sign up for an @odigo.com, and then add your MSN Messenger account in
the configuration screens).
