Problems with new Windows Messengers

Hi,

I updated today my Windows Messenger to version
4.7.2005 from the second most recent version and it tries
to connect since 1.5 hours when the last version I had
connected right away. The thing is i'm behind a severe
network protection that is using proxies, and when I
configure Messenger with the proxy values, it doesn't
work either. Can anybody help me with this? I see two
solutions : fix the new Messenger or find the old one to
reinstall it.
