I recently downloaded MSN Messenger 5.0 from the MSN
Messenger site and when I try and install it, it jumps to
an error message saying "MSN Messenger 5.0 was not
installed" and it says about the program being inturrupted
and try to shut down programs.
I tried to do what it says about shutting down programs
and still no difference. I'm sure this error dosnt explain
much but I know that I could install the messenger awhile
ago before I formatted a couple of times.
I'm running Windows XP with SP 1 installed.
I do not have Windows Messenger running while trying to
install Messenger 5.
The only problem I could think of is my Windows Installer
could of been damaged somehow
I'm sorry if this isnt enough information, but if anyone
has had similar problems please tell me a possible
solution.
Any more info you need just ask.
Thanks
