Help. I need to change my password on my outlook express
and followed direx on managing identities, but they won't
let me get to password to change.
Should I uninstall and then re-install the whole program
and put in a new password? If I do that will I lose all
my saved msgs in mailboxes and my address book, or will
they be saved and returned whenI reinstall?

Greetings,

Exactly which password are you trying to change? You can't really "reinstall" Outlook
Express in Windows XP (yes, I know there are ways). If you're just trying to change your
identity password, just click the File menu, then Identities, then Manage Identities, click
your Identity, click the Properties button, enter your old Password, then choose the Change
Password button.

If you're trying to change the password for your mail server, click the Tools menu, then
Accounts, choose the Mail tab, click your server, then Properties, then Advanced tab.

You also most want to repost this in the Outlook Express group, since they might have a
better idea of the problem and a better solution:
