chashs and restores,

I have had my new pc for about 6 months and I got aol when I frist got it .and it was all right? but I wanted DSL so went with bellsouth .net and got more ram so I could run it . and it chash and I ran a restore it took it back to ?like it was new? but I
cant get my old things back on it now can you help,me?made a big mistake and ran 2 more. ,please help me Mrs Ingram

With the info given it is very hard to try to solve your poblem.
Might I suggest that you phone the company that you bought your system from
and have them go through the steps with you to solve your problem.Or maybe
your local computer store can send someone over to redo your DSL setup
..Chances are the restore took it back to exactly when youfirst bought it and
anything that you have added since then will need to be reinstalled.That
includes all programs as well as Internet connection set ups.The other
option would be a friend who is knowledgable in XP who you trust to try to
fix this remotely.
