download updates

When I go to the MS website and click on windows updates,
it tells me that Ihave 12 critical updates that need to
be installed.

I click install and it says the updates will take 3
minutes to download.

Then I get a message that says down load complete,
waiting to install - time remaining 1 minute.

15 minutes later, it has not moved.

I have tried this 3 times and it does the same thing.

Goes anyone know how to get these download to install?

Hi Alan,

Open WindowsExplorer to C:\Windows\system32, right-click the catroot2 =
folder and select "rename". Call it catold. Then restart the Windows =
Updates. When finished, reboot and there will be a new catroot2 folder =
and you may delete the renamed one.

Hi Alan,
