Hello people,
I hope someone might be able to help me with the following:
i use messenger 6.1 with XPsp1 for communicating 'cross the net using a
microphone. the (as far as i am concerned) insane problem is that when using
the microphone you hear your own voice as well when speaking. i have my
sound coming from my stereo (better for games) but that means that i hear
myself booming across the stereo whenever i say something (frankly, i find
this i stupid oversight that has plagued messenger since it's inception,
rogerwilco does this better). does anybody know how to stop my own voice
from sounding through messenger?
maybe a sound card setting? my setup : Win XpproSp1, Soundblaster Live Value
using winxp WDM drivers (not the creative ones, i'v tried that, doesn't
solve anything), plantronics mike plugged into the soundcard.
Thanx for anything on this.
