View Full Version : A thought regarding the spam emails

I could be barking up the wrong tree here, but I just had another load of
spam emails, looking at the cc emails at the top, there are only about 25 of
them, I noticed that a couple of them were email addresses with spam filters
in them. Because of that I decided they must be getting the emails from
something like a newsgroup. As I never received any until I wrote to this
news group I decided to have a quick look through at some of the emails of
the posters.......at least 3, including myself are included in the cc email
address of the spam emails that I have received...... I don't know if anyone
agrees but out of all the email addresses around to have 3 from the same
newsgroup is rather large odds, there could be more, but like I said I only
did a quick check. So I thought it might be an idea to put in a spam
filter in your email address, which I have just done, to see if it makes a
difference.

Does what I have just said make sense? If so, is it too late for a spam
filter anyway?

One more reason for posting under a fictitious name and address.
