Wife and her Sister keep getting bugged to download and install the "NEW"
Windows Messenger.
Question: Any problems or items to aware of? Any problems?

Greetings Joel,
No real issues with the latest version (4.7.2009) -- the only thing you might see is it will
attempt to sign in to Messenger if you have the automatic login set on, even if MSN Messenger
5 is installed.

OK, how to stop the attempt, these ladies do not like problems. They
video/conversation every evening and that is their main contact most of the
time. One is here, of course, and the other is in Oak Ridge, TN, some 600
miles. So, they just don't want any problems. Both use new Dell's and
connected via cable.

Hi Joel,
Then you don't load Windows Messenger at bootup time, but if MSN Messenger 5 isn't installed,
there really is no issue...
