I had a similar problem until I changed the third octet
of the router's ip numbers. I had to change it because
of a conflict with a client's VPN. By default it's LAN
IP Address is 192.168.1.1 I changed mine to 192.168.0.1
It cleared the problem with the VPN conflict I had, and I
could do voice and exchange files again. Also I could do
netmeeting from behind my firewall.

I question your using both the NAT firewall in your
router and a software firewall on your machine. I know
some people think you can't be too safe, but software
firewalls do slow your machine down some. I'm only
running the one on my router at this time. Just
curious. :)

Hope that helps,

Bob

Bob,
Thanks for the reply. I will try that. I assume I just go into the "setup"
tab on the router page and change it, then click apply. I also didn't
realize I didn't have to use an additional firewall. I guess that is why I
have received no pop up alerts since installing the router.
Thanks again,

Dee
