NO NEED to do ANYTHING but look in your messengers HELP...
To block messages from everyone who is not on your contact
list or on your Allow List:
In the Messenger main window, click the TOOLS menu, click
OPTIONS, and then click the PRIVACY tab.
Under MY ALLOW LIST, click "ALL OTHERS",(highlight "all
others") and then click BLOCK.
"All others" moves to your Block list. This forces anyone
who wants to send you messages to add you to their own
contact list.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
SIMPLE, and they've COMPLETELY stopped..
i was receiving PORN POPS every 10 minutes, 3 to 4 at a
time....
i went to tech support, i got links to addware
scanners... virus scanners, pop up stoppers...
how to close your ports...how to stop the
messengers "SERVICE".....etc...etc... and whatnot!!!
i did it all!! and they seem to come even faster...*L*
but all you need to do is...
MOVE "ALL OTHERS" to your BLOCK list...enjoy your peace: )
