IM ADDRESS

I installed the Microsoft Instant Messenger that comes
w/the XP Pro package, and although it shows my e-mail
address as my name/address; I can't figure out how to find
out the actual IM address. Can someone please tell me, as
I am a beginner with computers?

I assume you already signed up for an account with Microsoft. Your IM
address is your e-mail address. I would like to point out that you
can't send messages to people using AOL Instant Messenger using Windows
Messenger. To send messages to people using AIM, you need to go to
www.aim.com, sign up for a ScreenName, and download the AIM client. I
hope I was of some help.
