start menu delay

Hi
No doubt this is a simple question, but how can i speed up the scrolling on
my start menu, it takes ages at the mo.

Right-click on MY COMPUTER and select:
Properties > Advanced > Performance Settings
and uncheck "Show Shadows under Menus"
and click APPLY.
