XP Updates

Would someone please be so kind as to advice me if it is ok to delete the
Downloaded Updates from Microsoft, the one's that show up in Add and Remove
as Hotfix? Would this affect the system in any way. Many Thanks. John

Hi John,

First, delete the associated $ntuninstallqxxxxxx$ folder under =
C:\Windows, then go to add & remove and select the hotfix. When you =
click change/remove, you will get an error message, then an opportunity =
to remove it from the listings.

Do this only if you are sure you do not want to uninstall the associated =
hotfix.
