Sorry, I hit Send too fast.

To continue, there is no problem with switching back to Main Identity, it
goes right to it. Does anybody have any ideas why this happens and how to
fix it? Thank you.

It's a bug that a patch on the update site fixes.

the

the

| Now here's the weird part--if I open the Help window by way of the =
Help menu
| and keep it open while I do the switching (Help opens in minimal =
window),
| the normal screen will vanish for several minutes then opens to the
| switched-to Identity.

Thanks Mark, I went to Tomsterdam and Dled the patch--it seems to work fine,
but takes an inordinate amount of time.
Nicholas--thanks, but I think you only read the header on that MicroSoft
Support site. The text gives you the patch and a workaround.

My workaround is way better than theirs (I have a knack for tricks :-) mb
