Emoticons

Just installed a new Dell computer, downloaded the latest
windows msgr for XP. Works OK, except can't send or
receive Emoticons... yes, the option is checked to show
them in messages. Any thoughts?

Can you be more specific? For example, are you seeing the text generated from emoticons
(like :@) or just nothing?
