When I sign into Windows Messenger the is a link
stating, "You are not signed in to all services." When I
click on the link anothe bos pops up saying, "Enter you
sign-in name for your communications services. " My sign
in name is already there, so I click OK, then get the
message, "Signing in to Communications Service failed."
Can anyone tell me, "Am I doing something wrong or is
Messenger having difficulties?" Please reply, soon

Thanks

Greetings,

I assume you're just trying to sign into the normal Windows Messenger network? (.NET
Messenger). To fix this, click the Tools menu, then select Options. Click the accounts tab
and then click the option button '.NET Passport' under 'Sign in with this account first:'.
Then, uncheck the box 'My contacts include users of a communications service', click OK and
then try and sign on again.
