CYA
May 12th 03, 05:23 PM
Hello,

I am investigating the usage of Windows Messenger in our
office environment. One item of importance is the
ability to capture user's communication/collaboration
with another individual while online in Messenger. The
goal is to capture communication history for
transactional information (a.k.a. a CYA mechanism) rather
than police communication.

Please let me know how this is possible in Windows
Messenger XP. I've poked around a bit, but perhaps I've
not looked in the right place?

Greetings,

This type of capability will be available in the upcoming Real-Time Communications Server
(codenamed Greenwich) from Microsoft, which will support Windows Messenger clients and allow
you to store this information in a SQL database, which you can then query as you prefer.

It should be available sometime this year.
