Help...

I want to be able to select a list of folders (or files) and capture that
list as a TEXT LIST. So that I can put the list into Word...

I feel sure this must be possible (was in DOS) and hope that somebody out
there might know how to do it???

Thanks

Ric

PS If you know of a better, more appropriate newsgroup to ask this
question - please let me know...

Use a dos box then :-)
There should be a shortcut to it in the start menu somewhere, or do
start->run then type cmd

Dave.

Interestingly, when I redirected the output to a.txt, the file got included
in the listing.

Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is CC5E-EDA9

Directory of C:\
