Click on START
Go to "ALL PROGRAMS"
at the top of this list, choose, "Set program access and
defaults"
Click on this selection
When the next window opens, CLICK on "Custom"
Next, go to the right, and click on the two down arrows.
A list should appear, and the fourth selection down should
read, "Choose default instant messenger program"
Look for a box that is marked, " Enable access to this
program"
Click on this box. The black circle in the box should go
away.
CLICK OK
A small window should appear for a brief moment, that
shows MESSENGER, being uninstalled.
