Messenger conversation retrieval.

Please can anyone help.
I had a very important conversation and did not save the
contents of the conversation.
Is there any file that has the data inside it to find out
what was written.

Greetings Peter,

Unfortunately Messenger doesn't automatically save conversations. As such, as soon as you
close the window, whatever you've typed (or received) is gone -- there is no "temporary file"
or anything like that, it's all stored in memory.

However, for future reference, using a third-party utility (like Messenger Plus,
http://www.msgplus.net), it will
automatically save your conversations for you.
