I tried to uninstall xp to go to millenium to reformat.

My cable guy came out and installed a cable modem on my
pc.And when he did install things were running fine. It
was still kinda slow so I thought I would do a system
restore to get all my resources back. So when I went to
uninstall xp it did and i can get millineum or anything
back up. It goes to safe mode with a black screen. Can ya
help??

It's not exactly clear what you did. A system restore is done from within
XP, but then you say you uninstalled XP. How did you do that? Or did you
expect that the system restore would uninstall XP?
