Using XP Pro. After disabling some services that I thought I would not need,
Hotmail and Windows Update are not working.

Hotmail gives me the error; "Microsoft .Net Passport no longer support the
web browse you are using..."

Windows Update says; "You must be running a Microsoft Windows operating
system in order to use Windows Update."

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

Use a restore point to restore back to functional capabilities?

Either follow Gail's instructions or go turn the services back on you
disabled.
