General Fault closing OE

I am having a constant problem with OE causing a general
fault error with XP-Pro and then having to close the
program down... this always seems to happen when I am in
the midst (usually right before sending) a lengthy and
time-consuming email... Obviously there is no "saving" so
all my text is lost! I have constantly reported this via
the auto-generated utility, and even followed it to the
website a couple time, where it states that MS is aware
of this bug and is working on a fix... but I read nothing
more about it and can find no additional help or articles
regarding this problem... anyone else having this problem
or know a data base entry?
(woes of SP1?... never happened before!)
