the thing is when i click on a file to download ie a
document or sound file a box comes up and asks me if i
want to 'open it' or 'save it to computer'.
whatever i click on the box just goes off and nothing
happens.
im sure my pc used to be able to do this.i dont know why
its not.
id really appreciate it if any1 could help me as i need
to download some notes for my degree.

My Computer, Tools menu, Options, File Types, highlight the filetype, click
Advanced. Remove check in "Confirm open after download" Click OK, then recheck
it
