On my Control Panel/Network Connections/ISP properties I
have turned on my Internet Connection Firewall. When I
sign in to Windows Messenger on Tools/Options/Connection
it says that I am using a Direct Connection to .NET
Messenger Service (no firewall). I realize that that
means that I am not using the Browser connection. If I
want to give or get Remote Assistance does that mean that
I don't need to go into the Control Panel/Network
Connections/ISP properties and turn off the firewall?
Thanks for whatever insight you can supply.
