Hello. I run 2 computers that share an internet
connection on cable. Each is plugged into a 5 port hub
then the hub goes to the ethernet card. Recently the
main cpu "JJ" shuts down and goes to standby mode.
checking the sysEvntlog I see this event........
Wedesday, April 16,2002 MRxSmb The master
browser has recieved a server announcmnet from the
computer "ozzy" that believes that it is the master
browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{8BD901E8-
A587-417 C-. The master browser is stopping or an
election is being forced.
Anyway "ozzy" is my cpu and "JJ" is my wifes. So my
cpu "ozzy" is not connected now to the hub when "jj" is
being used. This is a problem since I need to be
connected for my purposes and "jj" is used by rest of the
family. Also both computers need not be using the
internet for this to happen. Can anyone tremedy this
problem?
