God I hate those go hear and read this fools. I am so sick
and tired of that crap. If you know the answer just give
it to the guy. you will need to go into the registry to
uninstall IE6. Be sure you have the installer already
loaded onto your system in a file where you know how to
find it. Go>start\run and type in regedit and hit ok. Now
follow this route.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Active
Setup\Installed Components\89820200-ECBD-11CF-8B85-
00AA005B4383 left click on the last entry to highlight it
and to open the sub keys. Now in the right pane click on
IsInstalled and then click modify and change the 1 to a 0
and then download and install IE again. Write this down
for future reference. Good luck.
