Are you using a local company for your connection, or a
large comapny like AOL, or MSN or Wal-Mart Connect? Also,
do you only get disconnected when you are trying a voice
conversation, or other times as well? Have you checked
your dial-up settings? Go into Network and Dial-Up
settings (probably in Control Panel) and right click the
connection you use and go to properties. Under the
Options Tab, does your Idle Time Before Hanging Up have a
time, or Never?
Just trying to help.

I am using a local company for my connections. There is "never"
selected in idle time before hanging up. This problem only occurs when
I am using the voice conversation, otherwise everything works out
fine, no hanging up etc. It is just like when you start speaking it
would work for some seconds, the other side can also hear me during
that time before msn freezes and the internet connection closes down.
