I cannot get this feature of Windows XP to work. It would
not connect to a friend who also had the program open.
Then I read that I had to be registered on the directory.
I went to the file menu and pulled down the "Log On To
the Microsoft Internet Directory" and then went to "Auto
Accept Calls"
Should that do it? Anyone experienced with this feature?

Greetings Dave,
Unfortunately the Directory was shut down quite awhile ago. The quickest way to call would
just be by IP. Both you and your contact need to open Netmeeting, one of you needs to click
the Help menu, click About, and then note your IP address. Then, send that IP to the other
person, and then that person clicks the Call menu, then New Call, enters the IP address, and
clicks the Call button.
