Streaming through Windows messenger

Hi All,

As i understand windows messenger supports streaming from
video source filters which can stream RGB (8/16/24/32)
formats. The only exception being msdv.sys through which
i presume it streams DV format.

1) Can anyone give information on how to make Windows
Messenger enumerate my own custom format or any standard
formats other than RGB formats?

2) Does WM check the outpin pin of the video source
filter to see if it is RGB format?

Any ideas/inputs on this will be highly appreciated.
