Who knows the real reason or BUG-solution to this shutdown
problem of XP-Pro. After installation my PC closed down
automaticaly but after a while it stopped doing so.So now
I have to wait untill my PC starts to reboot and turn off
the current. I have read so many suggestions but NONE
works. I have asked about and the more I ask I encounter
MORE people with the same problem. There MUST be an
appropriate answer to this simple problem in as much as it
starts out working in the beginning and there after no
more! The solution does not lie in Energiecontrole---APM---
or ACPI in the BIOS.Has anybody yet have a direct solution
from MICROSOFT? If possible also send your answer direct
to my Emailaddress Thanks a
million for your time.

Press WinKey-Break,(or start/run 'sysdm.cpl'), click Advanced Tab, Start Up...
area, Settings button,

Remove check from "Automatically Restart"

On the next reboot, you will be able to read the error that caused the restart.
