msn chatrooms

can someone please help, when i enter MSN chatrooms and
try to post a message my typing makes no sense and reads
as a series of[][][] have i pressed something?, i have
tried to get rid of it but no matter what i do i cant
revert back to normal type.

Greetings Tracey,

You may just have your font set incorrectly. to fix this, click "Chat Room Options" at the
top. Then under Font, choose Arial or Tahoma (or some other "normal" font), then click Done
at the bottom.
