If anyone can help I would be very appreciative.

If I right-click the taskbar and open up the properties,
click on the TASKBAR tab and there is a section
called "Notification Area". Click the CUSTOMISE button
and all the 'current' and 'past items' are listed. How
do I delete the 'past items'? It seems I can only change
the status between "Always hide"; "Always show";
and "Hide when inactive". Someone has downloaded a
program that I do not wish to have on my computer and it
has left a 'reminder' that this program was there in the
first place.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.
