Hi! I have a fix!!! Found a great website after hours of
research on how to not only to COMPLETLEY un-install
messenger but will no longer allow those annoying pop up
messages to keep popping up after messenger is deleted.
The patch site is:

Should you be behind a firewall or use Norton Anti Virus
software you will be prompted about this script. When
prompted you will need to select I believe the exact
wording was "Approve This Script" or "Authenticate This
Script". Also, here is another awesome Windows XP
Troubleshooting site (where I found this fix) that I found
EXTREMELY useful and answered a lot of questions that
searching Microsoft doesn't seem to touch on much. Please
