Hi,
Does anyone know the setting that will allow me to change "Folders"
View in My Computer from being the default?
When I turn it off and close My Computer, it defaults back to Folders
View when either My Computer is re-opened or the system is restarted.

Unlocking the Toolbar, closing and restarting, etc, don't seem to
help.

Any help appreciated!
TIA

Hi,

Common Tasks View - Disable or Enable (Line 78)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

You neglect to mention to change to what? Do we assume you mean Explorer =
view. If so Right click My Comp and choose Explore rather than Open.
