"Windows" doesn't update in WindowsUpdate

Hi All,

I am running the WindowsUpdate web site and when I click "scan for updates",
on the left it updates "Critical Updates and Service Packs" with 0, "Driver
Updates" with 0,
and "Windows" stays greyed out with no number in brackets unlike the other
two options.

This site used to work fine for me until recently. Anyone know of a fix for
this problem?

I have fixed the prob by selecting a language under tools/languages. for
some reason this was blank.
